Outreach
The College of Science serves Oregon through a variety of programs in which faculty members work with students and teachers throughout the state. The following programs seek to improve the quality of education and technical training in science and mathematics by collaborating with community colleges, schools, and state and regional agencies.

Future Undergraduates
Welcome to the world of Science. One of the largest academic units at Oregon State University, the College of Science offers undergraduate degrees in classical disciplines and in integrated cross-disciplinary areas.
Science also offers pre-professional programs that prepare students to enter a medical profession or another health-related field.
Future Graduate Students
Graduate programs within the College of Science offer top-quality training and advanced degrees in biological sciences, physics, chemistry, geology, geography, statistics, mathematics, science and mathematics education, and many interdisciplinary fields.
Prospective graduate students should contact the Departments and Programs directly to get information about applying for admission. Some units accept preliminary applications at no cost to the prospective graduate student.
